Vaccine technology is fairly recent in history so we hypothesize how they work, but as in this instance, why do some women fall pregnant from vaccines? Or just hand-wave away the resurrection as not having happened and not needing speculation for a case of mistaken identity. My first though when reading the thread title was "how do they know the first coming didn't cause the pregnancy? Doesn't it take a Sperm cell?
